Terms of use
1. What Resora is
Resora provides software for retrieving, organising and displaying information that comes from public filings and public statistical sources, together with figures we compute from them. We are not a broker, dealer, investment adviser or exchange, and we route no orders.
2. Not investment advice
Nothing in the terminal, on this site, or in any notification is a recommendation, solicitation, price target or advice about a security. We publish no ratings and no buy or sell signals by design. You decide what to do with a number; you bear the result.
3. Data as-is
Figures are provided as recorded, with their source and retrieval time where available. Sources contain errors, restatements and gaps, and our pipelines inherit some of them — the limits we already know about are listed publicly. Do not treat a displayed value as verified for accounting, legal or tax purposes; go to the filing itself, whose accession number we show.
4. Accounts
One account per person. Keep your credentials to yourself; you are responsible for activity under your account. We may suspend an account used to mirror the dataset, resell access, or automate against authenticated endpoints outside what is documented on /docs/.
5. Acceptable use
- Personal research and building your own analysis: fine.
- Quoting a figure with a link to the page and its named source: fine, and what we would rather you do.
- Bulk scraping of authenticated endpoints, republishing our tables as a competing data feed, evading access controls, or reselling terminal access: not permitted.
- Automated traffic must identify itself with a real user agent and respect rate limits.
6. Third-party sources
SEC EDGAR, BLS, FRED, CBOE, exchange feeds, issuer holdings files and news wires belong to their publishers. Their terms govern their own material; ours govern the arrangement, computation and interface we add.
7. Availability
The terminal and pipelines can be interrupted for maintenance or by upstream changes we cannot control. Paid access affected by an extended outage is handled case by case — raise it in the app.
8. Reporting an error
If a figure looks wrong, tell us which symbol, field, period and page you were on, and what the filing says. Corrections are made at the pipeline, so they propagate; error reports on open-source components are tracked as issues on GitHub.
9. Changes
Material changes to these terms are posted on this page with a new effective date. Continuing to use the product after that date means these terms apply.
